Job Description:
Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? Our client, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the effective and efficient repair and maintenance of machinery and facilities.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
* Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment availability and efficiency
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
* Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery
