Main Purpose of Job:
* To ensure that parts produced meet the customer's requirements and are fit for purpose, through the application of the first off process, ongoing process audits and appropriate product testing.
* To work as part of the quality team in supporting production in the control of quality costs and process control.
* To be a key team player deploying continuous improvement techniques through the use of measured and collected data
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensure all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner within the parameters of current health and safety legislation (HASAW Act 1974)
* To ensure that all first offs are carried out in a correct and timely manner, and that all required data is recorded.
* To carry out audits on all machines running and sub-assembly processes, ensuring the products produced meet the customer's requirements.
* As part of the quality team raising concessions, the updating of JIS / Test procedures request.

* To carry out and record the outputs of any testing (Either product or process) required and carried out and to escalate any test failures to the management team.
* To support the quality team administration by the raising of concessions, the updating of JIS / Test procedures and general admin requirements of the quality team.
* To use measuring equipment, fixtures, gauges and test equipment in the use of product compliance raising any equipment failures to the management team.
* To operate the quarantine process ensuring non complying products are identified and contained.
* Ensure Health & Safety regulations and the company's Instructions and policies are adhered to.
* Set example of company image with high standards of personal appearance and efficiency in attendance and timekeeping.
* To perform all other reasonable duties as and when required by the RGE Management Team.
Applicants should ideally have knowledge/experience of using computer software packages such as Microsoft office. A high level of accuracy and an aptitude for detail is required.
The position located at our Whittlesey site on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, ON ROTATION every second week.
* Day shifts: 06:45-15:15 - 0,5h unpaid break
* Late shifts: 14:45-23:15 - 0,5h unpaid break
* Night Shifts: 22:45-07:15 – 0.5h unpaid break
