Exclusive to TPF Recruitment, we are supporting a fantastic independent accountancy practice based near Maidstone in their search for a general practice, part qualified/ Semi Senior Accountant. You’ll gain access to a broad variety of client work to hone your skills as you progress in your career.
This position will particularly suit you if you're studying for your professional qualifications. In return you will receive a competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive training package, if required. Responsibilities
* Preparing year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies
* Opportunity to learn and support with some audit work
* Management accounts preparation
* Preparing personal tax, corporate tax and VAT computations and returns
* Bookkeeping
* Assisting the Managers with ad hoc project work for clients
* Liaising with clients regarding their accounts and queries
Requirements
* Must have previous experience working within an Accountancy practice
* Must be AAT qualified, or nearly qualified, or studying the ACA/ ACCA
* Experience of Iris, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous
Benefits
* £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
