Lisa Wright Recruitment is recruiting an Area Sales Executive on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer and supplier of building and construction products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated sales professional to join a respected business with a strong reputation for quality and customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with Contractors and Distributors, driving sales growth, and maximising commercial opportunities across the region.
The Role – Area Sales Executive
* Develop and grow sales within the designated territory, covering Ipswich to York.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Contractors, Distributors, and key decision-makers.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing accounts.
* Promote the company’s range of building and construction products through regular customer visits, networking, and attendance at trade exhibitions and industry events.
* Manage sales pipelines and maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to drive continued business growth.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in field sales or account management, ideally within the construction, building products, or manufacturing sector.
* Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and business development focus.
* Proactive, organised, and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously.
* Experience using CRM systems to manage accounts and report on activity.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
Package
* Basic salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience
