Accounts Assistant
Permanent, up to £29,000
We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation in Macclesfield that is looking to add an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to their friendly and outgoing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role and is looking for genuine long-term progression and development opportunities within a successful business.
What you’ll be doing:
* Processing high volumes of supplier payments accurately and efficiently
* Managing weekly payment runs and completing bank reconciliations
* Processing branch expenses
* Handling incoming finance and accounting queries professionally
* Filing, scanning, and maintaining financial documentation
* Supporting the wider finance team during year-end processes
What they are looking for:
* A proactive, motivated, and positive approach to work
* A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others
* Good working knowledge of Excel and Sage
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
