We are seeking to recruit a dynamic individual with proven skills, knowledge, and experience to provide leadership to an established team of Allied Healthcare Professionals and support staff in the Learning Disabilities National High Secure Team and Mental Health team at Rampton Hospital.
The post holder will support the Day Unit Manager and deputise in their absence. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated individual with excellent communication skills to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities include service development, programme ideas, and the day-to-day operational running of the service.
In return, we offer an additional £7,000 high secure allowance to successful applicants.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker/Health & Care visa. Therefore, the Trust would not be able to sponsor for such visas in these circumstances.

* Contribute to and assist in the delivery of a needs-led recovery programme based on individual patient needs.
* Contribute to the daily functioning of the designated area, deputising in the absence of the Team Leader or Manager.
* Be actively involved in the treatment of individual patients.
* Work with other Technical Instructors, Occupational Therapists, and Therapeutic Involvement Workers to ensure full packages of care are delivered.
* Manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
* Attend relevant service and wider meetings as required.
* Communicate effectively within your service and with colleagues.
* Record statistical information accurately.
* Keep accurate, appropriate, and contemporaneous patient records in accordance with Trust policies.
* Undertake administrative tasks as required.
* Ensure resources are available within the service to deliver therapeutic activities.
* Perform other duties as required, which may include supporting ward staff in the day-to-day running of the ward.
