We have a new vacancy for an Area Sales Manager to join us, working as part of our UK Sales Team covering our South West territory, covering the following postcodes:
EX, PL, TA, TQ and TR.
The Area Sales Manager is a key role within the UK Sales operation, tasked with developing, managing, and growing sales activities to drive profitable sales performance across the allocated region or sales area.
This position is a full-time, permanent role and is ideally suited for someone located within the sales area.
The primary responsibilities for this role are as follows:
* Continue to develop and drive forward sales plans and objectives for your area.
* Build strong and beneficial relationships with key personnel within our customer base.
* Working closely with Architects, Consultants on projects, through to Electrical Contractors and Wholesaling partners.
* To deliver profitable sales performance to target levels.
* To provide reports and insight as to opportunities to grow and develop your sales area.
Candidates must have or demonstrate an ability to apply, develop and deliver:
* A good sales track record with demonstrable market knowledge and experience.
* Experience in selling in the electrical or construction marketplace.
* The drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation to underpin success.
* Current and applicable UK car driving licence.
* Appropriate IT and business management skills.
