Job Description
* Oversee VAT reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Provide expert VAT advice to the wider business as required.
* Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.
* Support with ongoing VAT projects within the business.
* Work closely with the wider Tax team to align VAT strategy.
* Stay up-to-date with VAT legislation changes and advise the business accordingly.
* Assist with VAT audits and queries as necessary.
* Support the development of VAT training materials for the wider business.
The Successful Applicant
A successful VAT Assistant Manager should have:
* Proven experience in a VAT role, ideally within the retail industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of VAT legislation and reporting processes.
* The ability to communicate complex VAT information effectively.
