SEN Teaching Assistants required in the Seacroft area
Hours & Contract
1. Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Requirements
2. Proven experience supporting children with SEND
3. Experience managing challenging behaviour in a classroom setting
4. Resilient, patient, and adaptable approach
5. Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
6. Good numeracy and literacy skills
7. Reliable, punctual, and proactive
Your Role & Responsibilities
8. Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEN
9. Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour positively
10. Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks
11. Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons as required
12. Promote inclusion, independence, and engagement in classroom activities
13. Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals
