Position: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
Hours: 30 hours per week (Tuesday-Thursday, All year round)
Salary: £20,186.40
Welcome to Cherrystone Nursery, a nurturing and vibrant day nursery and preschool located in the heart of Stoneleigh, Surrey. We cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years and have recently transformed our outdoor spaces to include two large, age-specific areas for 0-2s and 2-5s. Our facilities feature a brand new climbing frame, a growing patch, a wendy house, and a creative art area designed to inspire exploration and play.

Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
* Meet each child’s individual needs, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
* Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child's unique learning and development.
* Collaborate with a professional team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
* Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety concerns to management.
* Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need:
* Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
* Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements: Desirable
