Location: Manchester - Remote Commitment: 1–2 days per month office-based (flexible hours) £50,000 - £55,000
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical negligence law and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills. This role involves representing clients who have suffered due to medical malpractice, ensuring their rights are protected while providing compassionate support throughout the legal process.
Duties
* Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion, ensuring timely progression of each case.
* Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering evidence and liaising with medical experts as necessary.
* Prepare legal documentation, including letters of claim, court documents, and witness statements.
* Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, striving for the best possible outcomes for clients.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients, keeping them informed throughout the process.
* Attend court hearings as required, representing clients effectively and professionally.
* Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
Qualifications
* Qualified solicitor with relevant experience in clinical negligence or personal injury law.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client care.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in case management.
