This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicatedWorkshop Managerwith CPC certification to take ownership of fleet operations for our client. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transport regulations, managing a team of drivers, and overseeing vehicle maintenance schedules while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop a team of professional HGV drivers, fostering a culture of safety and compliance
2. Maintain the company's Operator's License and ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations
3. Monitor and manage drivers' hours, tachograph records, and working time directive requirements
4. Coordinate fleet maintenance schedules, including inspections, servicing, and MOTs
5. Lead health and safety initiatives within the transport department
6. Liaise with customers to ensure service expectations are consistently met
7. Analyze and improve KPIs related to fleet efficiency and performance
