<div><p>A new opportunity for an ambitious QA Manager / Assistant Technical Manager to join an innovative and fast growing food manufacturer!</p><p>Youll be responsible for leading the site QA function and supporting technical operations across the factory, ensuring product quality, food safety, legality, and compliance standards are consistently achieved.</p><p>Youll also take ownership of site standards and play a key role in audit readiness, including full responsibility for BRC compliance.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Partner with Operations to ensure safety, legality, and quality standards are consistently achieved</li><li>Lead and develop the QA team, driving performance and accountability</li><li>Manage factory quality systems, technical procedures, and BRC/audit compliance</li><li>Lead monthly quality meetings and monitor key KPI performance</li><li>Oversee GMP, hygiene, calibration, environmental monitoring, and microbiological programmes</li><li>Manage non-conformance processes, escalation routes, and corrective actions</li><li>Support HACCP systems, verification, and full traceability activities</li><li>Drive continuous improvement, product quality enhancements, and cross-functional projects including launches and customer feedback</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in a Quality Management role within food manufacturing</li><li>Strong knowledge of food safety systems and audit standards (e.g. BRC)</li><li>Confident communicator, able to influence and challenge at all levels</li><li>Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail</li><li>Degree or food-related qualification preferred</li></ul><p>You’ll be someone who enjoys being close to the factory floor, leading by example, and driving standards through people as much as systems.</p><h3>Why Apply?</h3><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where quality is at the heart of everything they do.
