Electrical Engineer Primary Purpose of the Role
You will work in a clean automated environment during this growth phase. As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will ensure the smooth operation of the factory safely and effectively, following all health and safety guidelines.
You will perform repairs, breakdowns, and planned preventative maintenance, reporting any equipment faults or malfunctions that cannot be fixed immediately. You will work with conveyor systems, ASRS systems, sort systems, scanning, and labelling systems.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain all materials handling equipment and ensure efficient operation of the Building Management System.
* Keep maintenance-only areas, warehouses, and workshops clean and tidy.
* Manage delivery and storage of maintenance spares and equipment.
* Adopt a flexible approach to health and safety, reporting hazards and ensuring safety of all staff.
* Assist with risk assessments and safety inspections.
* Participate in team activities and promote a positive work environment.
* Encourage idea generation to improve departmental operations, aligning with Target Zero initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a similar role within FMCG, food manufacturing, waste recycling, baggage handling, or automated warehousing. Effective communication at all levels, and experience working in high-pressure environments. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
