The Information Governance and Feedback Team are seeking a Information Governance and Feedback Assistant to join a well-established team within Legal and Democratic Services. The post holder will assist in the coordination of the Council's corporate Feedback system ensuring the delivery of the Complaint and Feedback Policy. In addition to this they will support ongoing compliance with Data Protection legislation. The role will assist in the delivery of subject access requests, Freedom of Information requests, dealing with data protection incidents and providing advice to staff and customers. The post holder will be involved with wider Governance arrangements across the Council helping ensure compliance with statutory obligations, monitoring and reporting.
This role does work to legislative and statutory deadlines. In addition the role does require the review and redaction of sensitive information which may contain offending incidents or social care information.
There are two positions available, one part time post (up to 18.5 hours), and one full time (up to 37 hours a week).
