Description About the Team The Fundraising and Engagement area includes Cancer Council SA’s fundraising, communication, prevention and advocacy, marketing, and customer experience teams. Fundraising and Engagement ensures a strategic and coordinated approach to our internal and external representation and enables the organisation to meet our objectives through strategy development, advocacy, brand positioning, fundraising and effective stakeholder relationships. About the Role Join us in leading some of South Australia's most iconic fundraising campaigns, including Daffodil Day and The Longest Day. As Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator, you will take the lead on planning and delivering peer to peer fundraising campaigns from start to finish, bringing together strategy, supporter engagement, and cross functional collaboration to drive impact. You will manage budgets, timelines and relationships, ensuring each campaign meets its goals and provides a meaningful experience for the community. This is a campaign management role with a strong focus on project delivery and stakeholder coordination. You will work closely with internal teams and national peers to localise campaign tactics, build effective supporter journeys, and use data driven insights to grow participation and revenue. You will also support other fundraising initiatives throughout the year, contributing to a calendar of events that raises vital funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services. Key Accountabilities Include: Contribute to campaign strategy, business cases and project plans in collaboration with the Fundraising Events Manager and national teams Lead and deliver campaigns on time and within budget using project management processes Work with other Cancer Council states to localise and optimise campaign tactics Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver on project plans Build and manage relationships with campaign participants, partners and supporters Provide regular and timely reports on campaign performance locally and nationally Support budget planning and forecasting, and manage working budgets for campaigns Ensure all supporter touchpoints are aligned with campaign objectives and brand messaging Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated communications, promotions and stewardship activities Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and learnings Skills And Experiences About You Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in either the not for profit or corporate sector Proven ability to meet revenue targets and project manage major fundraising or marketing campaigns A self-starter who can identify and deliver growth opportunities with minimal supervision Experience in supporter engagement and journey design, from lead generation through to retention Skilled in developing or coordinating communication materials including email campaigns and direct mail Highly proficient in databases and CRM systems, with an ability to segment and interpret data Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of people Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident managing digital assets and tools Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal A team player who is solutions focused and driven by purpose Qualifications in marketing, communications, fundraising or business are highly regarded The is a fixed-term, backfilling parental leave role.
