Principal Planning Officer - £44,711 - £46,731 Link to Role description and person specification We’re looking for an experienced planner who can lead teams to deliver projects involved with sustainable waste management and use of minerals. Supported by a manager and dedicated team, this will include taking a lead role in shaping and progressing the council’s new minerals and waste plans. Skills, Knowledge & experience required Extensive experience in handling Minerals and Waste planning policy matters Experience managing policies at a senior level Ability to communicate effectively within a political context and at the management level Fully RTPI-accredited postgraduate degree Ability to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the current and evolving UK planning system Project management experience as a project lead Experience managing junior planners Senior Planning Officer - £41,511 - £43,693 Link to Role description and person specification This role involves working closely with stakeholders and communities to prepare and monitor the strategy, policies and site proposals for the extraction of minerals and management of waste.
