Overview

Site Co-ordinator role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. The role is based in a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team. The duties include a mixture of administrative work and cleaning.

Salary: £13.10 per hour. Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift pattern: 7.30 am to 4.00 pm, 5 on / 2 off. Contract: Permanent.

Responsibilities

* Administration: assist managing all administration processes related to the contract; work with the Site Manager and Regional Account Manager as required; attend weekly/monthly meetings; update internal and external databases and administration systems; accurately file paperwork; manage contract documentation; assist in preparation for client meetings; maintain a flexible approach to ensure deadlines are met.
* Cleaning: general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens; use appropriate cleaning equipment and products; ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and in safe working order; react quickly to call-outs from the client; comply with Health & Safety legislation and policies; manage waste disposal.


Qualifications

* Administration experience essential
* A knowledge of facilities management sectors is desirable
* Relevant experience of Microsoft packages – must have good working knowledge of Excel
* Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
* Must have a flexible approach to working
* Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload; excellent time keeping skills and strong planning and organisational ability
* Relationship building skills – a self-starter who takes initiative and can work well within a team, supporting and guiding colleagues as required
* Ability to generate, develop and present ideas for improvements to achieve more effective working practices
* Discretion in dealing with confidential information
* Customer care – capable of delivering results and exceeding customer expectations
* Well presented, professional appearance and attitude with a positive and professional approach
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test
