Have you got experience as Senior Support Worker, Case Worker, Case Manager, Service Manager or other similar role, where you are providing support and advice to service users, including vulnerable people, in the community?
The farming community is facing a set of unique challenges, now more than ever. This role is providing essential advice, guidance and enabling access to support and services, to farmers all over South Wales.
As a Regional Support Manager, you will:
* Provide high-quality advice and guidance to service users, with empathy and professionalism.
* Assess individual needs, create support plans, and manage a diverse caseload.
* Collate evidence for grant applications and progress cases through our internal process.
* Visit farming people face-to-face where needed, building trust and meaningful connections.
* Work closely with partner agencies, ensuring joined-up support for beneficiaries.
* Safeguard service users, escalating any safeguarding concerns and maintain accurate case records.
In this role you will be mainly home-based but with regular travel around South Wales so a full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
Salary £32,460 plus £2,500 car allowance and benefits including 10% pension, life assurance cover (3 x salary), access to healthcare services and holiday entitlement of 28 days (plus bank holidays).
About you:
* Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Previous work experience providing advice, guidance, signposting to service users e.g. social care, healthcare, mental health, etc.
* Skilled in supporting vulnerable people in a sensitive, non-judgemental way.
* Strong organisational skills, able to balance a complex and diverse caseload with competing priorities
* Knowledge of state benefits, safeguarding best practice and data protection principles
* Flexible approach to meet the needs of a diverse group of service users around the region
