Overview
Sunderland City Council is seeking a permanent Engineer for the Highways Operations Team to deliver frontline services and improve coordination of mainstream services responsive to local needs.
Location
Office/site based.
Responsibilities
* Deliver frontline services and improve coordination and delivery of mainstream services that are responsive to local needs.
* Prepare, design and implement highway schemes.
* Provide contract and site management working with both internal teams and external contractors.
Qualifications
* Full UK/EEC driving licence.
* Prepared to work in all weather conditions.
* Able and prepared to meet the travel requirements of the post.
* Willing to work flexible or additional hours to meet business needs.
