Clinic Facilities Assistant
Location: Cadogan Clinic, 120 Sloane Street, Chelsea, London
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £26,000 per year
Shifts: 8-hour shifts generally between 7:00am – 7:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Clinic Facilities Assistant to join our team. In this varied and practical role, you'll help us maintain a safe, well-presented, and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and Theatre Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of our clinic facilities, ensuring spaces are safe, compliant, and operationally smooth. No two days will be the same — you'll be problem-solving, supporting clinical teams, and helping us keep our period building near Sloane Square running at its best.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, is solutions-focused, and takes pride in supporting a patient-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the safe movement of patients, equipment, and consumables across the clinic
* Manage the transportation of clinical waste, hazardous materials, and specimens in line with policies
* Order, manage, and distribute deliveries, including medical gas cylinders, consumables, and equipment
* Oversee waste management and recycling systems
* Assist the Operations and Theatre Managers with practical maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance and high standards
* Support stock management and safe storage processes
* Liaise with the H&S Lead and Clinical Governance team to uphold safety standards and proactively address issues
* Act as the point of contact for contractors and service providers
* Carry out regular checks, including fire alarm testing and fire safety equipment inspections, and act as a trained Fire Marshal
* Maintain staff facilities (including the staff room), ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-presented

* Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a manual role (lifting, carrying, working at height)
* Organised, punctual, and reliable, with strong ownership of tasks
* Confident working under pressure, always using sensitivity and discretion
* Flexible and adaptable with good interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to follow processes and work within compliance and safety standards
Desirable
* Experience in facilities, estates, or maintenance within a healthcare or clinical environment
* Knowledge of health & safety and governance requirements
* Experience working with contractors and suppliers
* Strong problem-solving ability with a positive, can-do attitude
