Here at ABP Langport, located in Southwest Somerset (TA10 9HG), we are currently recruiting for the ideal candidate to join our Boning Hall Team as a Butcher.

Role definition:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Butcher to join our production team in a busy factory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and processing meat products to meet quality and safety standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat according to specifications.
* Operating knives and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
* Inspecting meat for quality and reporting any issues.
* Working as part of a team to customer specifications.
Knowledge and Experience:

* Strong attention to detail
* Great team ethic and a flexible approach to work
* The ability to work in this physically demanding role
Schedule:
Day Shift Schedule
* Working Days: 4 days per week
* Shift Hours: 06:00 - 18:00
* Rolling Rest Day: One weekday off, rotating Monday through Friday
Example Rotation:
* Week 1: Monday - Rest Day
* Week 2: Tuesday - Rest Day
* Week 3: Wednesday - Rest Day
* Week 4: Thursday - Rest Day
* Week 5: Friday - Rest Day
Reporting to: Boning Hall Production Manager
Rate: Piece Rate
