Key Responsibilities
As the S&OP Leader, you will:
1. Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring all meetings are scheduled, content is relevant, and outcomes are actioned.
2. Co-lead Demand and Supply Reviews, working closely with Sales, Industry, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to align forecasts and plans.
3. Support forecast iterations, ensuring all business constraints and opportunities are considered.
4. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
5. Develop and maintain dashboards and key metrics to support business visibility and decision-making.
6. Manage the Equipment Sourcing Analysts, influencing inventory strategy and supporting team development.
7. Collaborate with Caterpillar, aligning processes and driving mutual success.
8. Support inventory investment decisions, stocking policies, and strategic planning aligned with business goals.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
9. Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
10. Minimum 5 years in supply chain or demand/supply planning.
11. Experience leading and developing a team, driving performance and engagement.
12. Experience with Caterpillar’s S&OP processes and inventory management systems is highly desirable.
13. Professional qualifications (CILT, CIPS, IBF) are a bonus but not essential.
14. Strong understanding of S&OP best practices and Demand/Supply dynamics.
15. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
16. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI & S&OP software is a plus.
17. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
