Permanent, part-time (22.5 hpw) rota working including evenings and weekends.
Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) [pro rata] and enjoy great benefits including a Health Cash Plan.

Typical day as our Support Worker
* We are an Ofsted-registered service working with children and young people aged 16 and above.
* Assist with practical daily living tasks to promote independence, supporting goals in their support plans.
* Help with activities like education or work enrollment, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and moving to independent accommodation if able.
* Conduct risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.
* Engage in casual chats and catch-ups. There are no huge caseloads, allowing time for team collaboration.

You bring
* Passion for working with children and young people aged 16+
* Ability to support them in living their best lives with attention to detail
* Experience caring for others, whether in professional care roles or caring for family or children
* Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and be resilient
* Understanding of the trauma and challenges faced by young people leaving care
* A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs

Job details
* Flexible start and finish times to meet customer needs.
* Work pattern is 3 days per week, including some weekends and evenings, with a 4-week rota provided in advance.
* Potential for flexible working patterns and extra shifts.
* Use technology to update support plans, complete online training, and collaborate with colleagues.
* An Enhanced DBS check is required; we pay for this.
