About the Role

2. Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
3. Implement positive behaviour strategies and maintain a calm, encouraging classroom environment
4. Prepare classroom resources and support enrichment activities and school trips
5. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour
6. Work closely with teachers, therapy staff, and pastoral teams to provide consistent support
7. Supervise pupils during break and lunch periods

You’ll be part of a nurturing, inclusive environment, helping each pupil grow in confidence, independence, and learning.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates who are:

8. Experienced in working with children or young people, ideally in a school or SEN setting
9. Adaptable, compassionate, and proactive, able to respond to individual needs
10. Confident and comfortable supporting both structured lessons and creative, outdoor learning
11. Team-focused, collaborative, and willing to contribute ideas and energy to the wider school community
12. Most importantly, motivated by a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
