She enjoys an active and engaging routine, including puzzles, games, walks, outings, and her favourite films and TV shows. She has a close relationship with her family and benefits from reassurance and positive redirection.
This role would suit someone patient, proactive, and enthusiastic, who can provide meaningful engagement and create a positive, supportive environment.No two days are the same your role will include:Supporting with personal care and daily living tasksAssisting with cooking, cleaning, and household dutiesSupporting attendance at appointments and community activitiesEncouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeingSupporting hobbies and interests (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needsUsing positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniquesWorking in environments where pets (including dogs) may be presentAbout You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in supporting individuals with complex needsCalm, resilient, and confident in challenging situationsPassionate about person-centred careSupportive of independence and personal developmentWilling to learn and develop professionallyComfortable working in homes with petsA full UK driving licence holder (essential)About SCA Care Social Care in Action (SCA Care) provides high-quality Home Care, Live-in Care, Day Care, Extra Care, and Specialist Care services across Hampshire.
