Contract Type: 12 months interim Hours: 09:00 – 17:30, Onsite Monday to Friday IR35: Pending determination Reporting to: Head of Health & Safety Overview Seeking an experienced and organised Health & Safety Officer to support a key data migration and document management project within the Health & Safety function. This is an exciting 12-month opportunity to play a vital role in transitioning H&S systems and processes into a new digital platform. Key Responsibilities * Lead the data migration project, ensuring accurate transfer of Health & Safety records, documentation, and compliance data into the evotix system. * Oversee and maintain document management processes, ensuring all information is current, accurate, and compliant with internal and statutory requirements. * Review and update Health & Safety documentation, including risk assessments, policies, procedures, and contractor management files. * Support the Head of Health & Safety in maintaining compliance across the Institutes. * Liaise with internal departments, project teams, and contractors to ensure Health & Safety documentation and controls are fully integrated into operational activities. * Assist in the development and implementation of evotix workflows and templates to meet organisational needs. * Provide advice and administrative support on general H&S matters as required. Skills and Experience Required * Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within a scientific, facilities, or construction environment. * Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and management systems. * Experience managing or supporting data migration or document management projects. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Confident using digital systems and software platforms (experience with evotix is desirable). * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. * Understanding of contractor management processes and documentation control. Qualifications * NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential. * IOSH Membership – desirable
