Patient Pathway Coordinator - Respiratory Triage

You will work closely with consultant teams to manage clinics, monitor patient pathways against national targets, resolve issues proactively, and keep operations running smoothly. Your attention to detail, strong IT skills and excellent communication will help deliver outstanding patient experiences while supporting the Trust to meet performance standards.

Person Specification
Knowledge Requirements
* Computer literate, with experience of using a keyboard with a high level of accuracy.
* Knowledge of NHS or service provider in general.
* Thorough knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and processes.
* Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets (e.g. PAS, Excel or similar).
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient data systems.
* Confidentiality and Data Protection.
* Health and Safety.
* Equality and diversity.
* Sound office clerical background providing knowledge of relevant procedures.
Qualifications
* Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above.
* RSA II (or equivalent).
* Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Administrator & Receptionist diploma (AMSPAR).
* NVQ in Customer Care.
* Institute of Health Records & Information Management Diploma (IHRIM).
* European Computer Driving Licence and Shorthand speeds of 80 wpm.
Further Training
* On the job training.
Experience
* Quality customer service experience.
* Previous NHS knowledge and experience.
* Experience working in an ophthalmology service.
Contractual Requirements
* Regular attendance and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
