Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing childminding assistant to provide exceptional care for children in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with children, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various childcare responsibilities effectively. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in early childhood education or those who have previously worked in nursery settings.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and social development.
* Assist with homework and educational activities, fostering a love for learning.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring that toys and play areas are tidy and hygienic.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
* Manage daily routines, including nap times, playtimes, and outings.
Experience
* Previous experience in childcare or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children safely, not essential.
