Senior Product Manager – Hippo
Location: Hybrid remote in London (WC1R 4PN). Candidates should be based within reasonable travel distance to one of our UK offices.
About The Role
As a Senior Product Manager at Hippo, you will lead product strategy, roadmap, and delivery across a range of projects and stakeholders. Your role includes coaching colleagues, driving innovation, and ensuring that user‑centred, accessible solutions are at the core of every decision.
Key Responsibilities
* Shape and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with organisational goals.
* Own and maintain the product roadmap, connecting strategy to delivery.
* Define objectives and success measures that drive focus and accountability.
* Lead complex project deliveries and manage dependencies, mitigating risk.
* Champion Agile principles and adapt them to fit project contexts.
* Influence senior stakeholders with data‑driven insights that champion user needs.
* Build strong relationships across teams to achieve alignment.
* Ensure accessibility, inclusion, and user‑centred design guide all decisions.
* Define and track KPIs and OKRs to measure product success.
* Mentor product professionals and develop long‑term capability.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* 5+ years of product management experience, covering ownership and strategy.
* Proven record in delivering product strategy and roadmaps that connect organisational goals to delivery.
* Strong prioritisation, discovery, and end‑to‑end delivery skills.
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into product requirements.
* Experience working with clients in a consultancy or advisory mindset.
* Leadership in multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder management.
* Hands‑on experience with user‑centred design and Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps).
Desirable Experience
* Experience delivering projects for government or NHS clients.
* Knowledge of GDS standards and service phases.
