We're looking for an Information Manager to join our United Utilities Framework. Location: Warrington, Blackburn, Manchester – some remote working available. Hours: 40 hours per week with some flexibility.
About the role
Join our thriving Information Management team and play a vital role in our digital transformation journey. As an Information Manager, you'll ensure our projects comply with industry standards like ISO 19650 while delivering exceptional information management solutions that help bring our projects to life.
What will you be responsible for?
* Implementing and maintaining our Digital by Default strategy across all projects, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and industry standards
* Managing and mentoring our Information Coordinators, providing training and fostering their professional development
* Conducting quality‑assurance audits and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
* Collaborating with project teams to establish effective Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and information‑naming conventions
* Being the go‑to expert for information‑management queries, providing thoughtful solutions to complex challenges
What are we looking for?
* Experience implementing ISO 19650 principles across projects and an understanding of information‑management procedures
* Skill at working with Electronic Document Management Systems configured to CDE principles (Viewpoint For Projects preferred)
* Enjoyment of mentoring others and talent for communicating complex ideas clearly
* A passion for digital transformation in construction and eagerness to share your knowledge
* Transferrable skills are welcome; even if you don’t tick every box we encourage you to apply
