Were looking for two Senior Peatland Officers to join thePEAT+ Team to plan, design, and deliver peatland restoration across key upland and lowland sites in Northern Ireland. Join the team leading the restoration of Northern Irelands precious peatlands throughPEAT+, a cross-border project tackling climate change, biodiversity loss, and habitat degradation. Youll bring your technical expertise to develop and implement site-specific restoration plans, procure and oversee contracts, secure permissions, and build strong partnerships with landowners and stakeholders. Were looking someone with: Good knowledge and understanding of NIs biodiversity, managing restoration of designated sites and priority habitats and the impacts on peatland site management. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with landowners, and farmers.
