Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care based at University Hospital Crosshouse and University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do:
The Hospital Palliative Care Team (HPCT) provides clinical leadership for the nurses within NHS Ayrshire & Arran, who are caring for patients, and their families, with often complex physical and psychological palliative care needs, providing specialist palliative care through the provision of expert clinical advice.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will have extensive current experience within an acute hospital setting within cancer and palliative care. You will be educated to Master's Degree level in Cancer/Palliative Care or equivalent, gained through additional specialist training and experience or willing to work towards.
