About the Role The PSV Fitter/Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of buses and coaches to ensure they are safe, compliant, and service-ready. Youll play a key role in keeping vehicles on the road, minimising downtime, and supporting reliable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a fleet of PSVs (buses/coaches).
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
Prepare vehicles for MOT and liaise with VOSA where required.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Ensure all work meets DVSA and health & safety standards.
What you'll have
Previous experience as a PSV or HGV mechanic/fitter.
Recognised qualifications in vehicle maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) desirable.
PSV licence preferred but not essential (training can be provided).
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.
