Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a unique business who are going through a period of positive change and are looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk / accounts assistant to join them in a 3-month temporary job based on the south side of Bury St Edmunds - IP29 area of Suffolk / Essex borders.
Your new role
In this temporary purchase ledger clerk / accounts assistant job, you will join the team and assist in processing purchase invoices onto NetSuite, checking for PO's and obtaining approval for payment through to reconciling supplier statements as well as dealing with supplier queries. You will also assist with sales ledger processing and general transactional finance, but your core duties will be part of the purchase ledger team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available and have experience of purchase ledger processing end-to-end as well having the confidence to deal with supplier queries. As this is a transactional role ideally you also have experience of sales ledger as you will assist the wider finance team.
Due to their location on the south side of Bury St Edmunds will need your own transport, but it is within driving distance of Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, and Haverhill.

As explained, this is an on-going temporary purchase ledger / finance assistants’ job for up to 3-months and depending on your experience will pay between £ - £ per hour including your holiday pay.
