Job Summary
Here at GRAHAM, we are currently seeking a full‑time, experienced Document Controller who can also support with administrative duties, to join our Birmingham‑based team working on major projects across the Midlands region.
This is a dual role, requiring a proactive and professional individual who can manage detailed document control while confidently handling front‑facing office and secretarial responsibilities. We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills who can effectively manage office documentation and work seamlessly with project teams and key stakeholders across our Midlands projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing all site/office documentation, ensuring a clear audit trail, including:
• Contract notices
• Progress reports
• Meeting minutes
• Inductions
• Health and Safety and environmental records
• Design information, drawings, and specifications
• Utilising IT systems including SharePoint, Viewpoint 4P, VIS Pod software, and Autodesk Build.
• Balancing document management with front-facing administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
• Solid document control experience.
• Ability to multitask and handle Administrative duties.
• Fully IT literate, with the ability to quickly adapt to platforms such as SharePoint and Autodesk Build. • Experience using Viewpoint 4P.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional, approachable, and confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work full-time in our Birmingham office.
Desirable Criteria:
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Familiarity with document control platforms in a construction or engineering setting.
• Proven ability to manage dual roles effectively, balancing technical document control and front-facing administration tasks.
