We re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Client manager who is confident leading client relationships, thrives on delivering high-quality work, and enjoys being part of a supportive, close-knit team. What you ll be doing
As a key member of the team, you ll play a hands-on role in client service and team development:
* Managing a portfolio of limited company and SME clients across varied sectors
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial statements
* Completing corporate and personal tax returns and advising clients on tax planning opportunities
* Overseeing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud-based reporting (primarily Xero)
* Providing proactive business advice and becoming a trusted advisor to clients
* Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff members to ensure accuracy and growth
* Building long-lasting client relationships through exceptional service and clear communication
What we re looking for
You ll fit right in if you:
* Have a solid background in general practice (ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience)
* Are confident managing a client portfolio with minimal supervision
* Have experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns to a high standard
* Are commercially aware and enjoy adding value through client advice
* Can balance technical accuracy with a personable, approachable style
* Are proactive, organised, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team
