Responsibilities
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has recently expanded. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic nurse who embraces change and welcomes new opportunities, caring for the region\'s most complex neonates and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care, contributing to family integrated care, and supporting a wider range of specialist services (including transport, family support, psychology, and surgical nursing).
Qualifications
Essential
* Qualified Nurse (Degree/Diploma)
* Registered nurse on the appropriate part of the register
* Knowledge of current issues within acute Health Service
* Understanding of personal accountability
* Knowledge of own role within the team
* Evidence of teaching and supporting learners in practice as a practice supervisor
* Aware of evidence-based practice
* Aware of responsibilities for infection control
* Evidence of ongoing personal development
* Able to use initiative
Desirable
* Evidence of recent study
* Previous experience/qualification in relevant specialty
