About the Role:
GSL Education are actively seeking a qualified SEMH Teaching Assistant for immediate placement at Client Secondary Schools in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. We are looking for someone who have experience working in a school setting and possess a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students with SEMH difficulties. SEMH Teaching Assistant Role:
Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs.
Facilitate the development of emotional literacy and resilience among students.
Assist in the delivery of lessons and educational activities.
Collaborate with educational professionals to ensure the fulfillment of EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
Experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Be available for work Monday to Friday.
