NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Acute Services Division as Associate Chief Nurse, based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. This is a pivotal leadership role within the Clyde Sector, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on healthcare delivery across the region.
As Associate Chief Nurse, you will provide strategic and professional support to the Chief Nurse, enhancing our senior leadership capacity to deliver safe, high-quality, and effective care. You will work closely with Lead Nurses, Senior Charge Nurses, senior clinical teams, and operational colleagues to promote and embed best practice, ensuring continuous improvement in patient outcomes across all services in the Clyde Sector.
This role demands a collaborative and influential leader who can inspire excellence, shape clinical governance, and drive innovation in nursing practice. You will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing the professional standards and reputation of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Requirements
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is essential.
* Extensive senior nursing leadership experience within complex acute care settings.
* Proven ability to influence and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong track record in clinical governance, quality improvement, and transformational leadership.
