5. Provides reading intervention for students in grades K-3 utilizing approved resources.
6. Administers reading assessments and monitors student progress.
7. Updates student reading plans with relevant goals and data.
8. Collaborates with the reading specialist and supports reading intervention plans.

9. Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas
10. Knowledge of best instructional practices
11. Ability to integrate technology
12. Experience in educational and instructional leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
13. Under the Every Student Succeeds Act of (ESSA), teachers in a Title I school are required to hold a proper license and endorsement. School divisions will be required to send notifications to parents in Title I schools if their children are taught four or more weeks by a teacher who is not properly licensed and endorsed in Virginia to teach the class to which the students are assigned.
14. Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, Reading Endorsement, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
15. Must hold or be eligible for an active Virginia teaching license with one or more endorsement areas including Elementary Ed, Early Childhood/Primary Education, English Learner (ESOL), or Special Education.
