The Role: The Accounts and Business Advisory Manager will oversee a varied portfolio of clients, offering strategic guidance, reviewing financial reports, and identifying opportunities to add value. This person will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to process improvement across the department. They will be a visible and proactive leader within the team—bringing insight, direction, and clarity to client engagements while supporting the growth and development of both people and processes. Key Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day client relationships and providing expert, tailored financial advice. Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and management reports. Translating financial data into actionable insights for clients. Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members. Leading or contributing to departmental initiatives focused on efficiency and service enhancement. Ensuring the highest technical standards are maintained in both client work and internal processes. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be: Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience. An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate financial insights. Organised and adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Collaborative, empathetic, and passionate about developing others. Motivated by purpose, with a continuous improvement mindset.
