We are looking for two enthusiastic Consultant Anaesthetists to join our friendly team, working in a fantastic area of the country between the South Downs and the Sea.
Responsibilities
* Provision of elective clinical anaesthesia across a wide range of specialties (sub‑specialty interests encouraged):
o Major colorectal
o General surgery – incl. non‑tertiary upper GI
o Gynaecology
o Breast and ENT (incl. cancer diagnostic work and routine paediatrics)
o Urology – incl. nephrectomy
o Maxillofacial
o Ophthalmology
o ECT
o General day surgery procedures
* Pre‑operative assessment
* Provision of emergency workload (1:12) – non‑resident on‑call supporting general theatre and obstetrics residents/SAS grade doctors.
* Liaise with a separate Critical Care Consultant for out‑of‑hours comprehensive on‑call service.
