Position Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation of your account teams; actively participating by devising and implementing projects and timelines and taking responsibility for driving specific activities.
Responsibilities:
* You will be supporting the Senior Account Manager and Account Director by managing your designated accounts, taking ownership to ensure projects are implemented efficiently and on time
* Collaborating with cross-functional agency teams, to ensure that all individual projects are proactively, creatively, and efficiently managed through the agency following a client brief and are ultimately delivered to an exceptional standard within the agreed timeframe
* Managing the day-to-day running of account(s)
* Providing clear and accurate briefings to everyone involved with project implementation
* Ensuring regular client update or programme /project progress, and manage any changes to planned activities that may occur
* Responsible for regular client contact, and prompt and accurate contact/action reports within 24 hours of meeting/discussion
* Responsible for estimating, billing, and awareness of budgetary status
* Participating in developing new business pitches
* Supervising junior members of the team on a day-to-day basis
Skills and Experience:
* Experience as a Senior Account Executive within a healthcare advertising agency environment will be a big advantage
* Experience in healthcare and digital-first approach will be a big advantage
* Have an interest in healthcare and enjoy being part of a collaborative team
* Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Be an active listener and proactively seek out information and problem solve
* Be naturally collaborative, work well within a team but also be able to work independently
* Adhere to deadlines and flag any potential issues in advance
* Be curious about our business, the world at large and what is going on around you
* Display a keen interest in health and pharmaceutical global communications and a good understanding of the environment in which we work
