We have a newly established Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) focused on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We are looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team.
The team shapes and optimises the project portfolio, ensures strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation.
This role offers hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from the team. You will be part of the PMO, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project managers across the portfolio, helping to set the standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help our teams identify, value, and validate their project benefits.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio to inform benefits and value management.
* Set standards for benefits and value management and assist with embedding them within projects and programmes.
* Identify, value, and validate project benefits to support decision-making and value delivery.
The Team
You will join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Transformation Team of the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation, and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Experience / Skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures; actively consider diversity issues in work.
