We are looking for a Head of Service to lead the Children in Care Service where you will join our Children in Care leadership team.

Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Children in Care Service and contribute to the Children in Care leadership team.
* Lead to deliver outstanding services for children and families and ensure effective delivery by managers and workers.
* Develop partnerships and maintain relationships with key partners to understand and fulfil corporate parenting responsibilities for young people.
* Drive continuous improvement, champion service user involvement, and explore opportunities and innovations to improve outcomes for young people.
* Support and empower young people to achieve their full potential.

About you
* You will need to have an understanding of how to include service users, partners and staff in achieving an outstanding service.
* You will need to be able to think ahead, scan opportunities and innovations to improve outcomes for young people, while ensuring managers and workers deliver good practice.
* You will have the skills to build relationships with key partners to understand and fulfil corporate parenting responsibilities for our young people.
