Job Overview

Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally hold a SVQ in Social Care Level 2 or 3 or a HNC in Social Care, or be willing to work towards gaining these qualifications. Candidates are required to be registered with SSSC or be in the process of registration, which must be completed within six months of commencing employment.
Legislative Information
This post is excepted in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Scotland Act 2020. It is considered a Regulated Role with Adults under the Disclosure Scotland Act 2020, and an offence to apply if you are barred from working with adults.
Overseas Criminal Records Check
An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required for applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past ten years. Applicants must provide the check, translated into English, with an official statement confirming no history of criminal proceedings.
