What You Will Be Doing
* Surveying buildings at risk from flooding to recommend Property Flood Resilience measures.
* Assessing flood risk from any source using existing data.
* Walking our rivers and coast to inspect flood risk assets.
* Conducting appropriate surveys and tests (e.g., photographic surveys, topographic surveys).
* Writing reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations using plain English.
What You Will Need
* The ability and willingness to travel and work anywhere the UK.
* Have good personal drive to succeed with a willingness to learn.
* Have good verbal and written communication skills.
* Have strong organisational skills.
* Have a desire to help and be empathetic to individuals and communities affected by flooding.
* Be competent in the use of relevant IT software.
