Role Description
This position is for a Senior Surface Print Designer on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave (1 year) working 30 hours per week. The designer will conceptualise and develop unique surface print designs for a variety of home décor products, from wallpapers, fabrics, wall-art & Rugs. Ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and own brand briefs. Responsibilities include creating innovative, trend-driven designs, collaborating with other creative teams, and maintaining brand consistency across all product lines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rawtenstall, 30 mins from Manchester city centre with free parking, or easy access via bus with the station directly next to our offices.
About you
* Proficiency in Print Design and Textiles with experience creating high-quality designs for home décor products.
* Strong skills including advanced use of design software in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and AVA CAD CAM.
* Ability to work effectively within a creative team and excellent communication and time management skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Surface Design, Textiles, or a related field is preferred.
* Excellent presentation abilities and exceptional colour and detail awareness.
* Ability to spot and interpret emerging design and colour trends.
