As the Maintenance Manager at Beaverbrook Town House, you
will ensure optimum completion of routine, preventative and emergency
maintenance and repairs, across the property.
This role will also be responsible for managing external
maintenance related contractors, ensuring they fulfil their contractual
obligations at competitive prices. You will remain on call for any essential
emergencies, working closely with the Health & Safety Manager, ensuring
compliance for the Town House is also a key priority.
What you’ll be doing:
* Overseeing all maintenance tasks via the daily logbook
held at Reception, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and
accurate completion.
* Responding to guests’ maintenance needs promptly
and ensure they receive a professional, efficient, prompt and courteous service
to company standard.
* Maintaining all equipment in accordance with
health & safety regulations, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
* Manage, monitor and test the Town House’s
emergency and security systems, such as fire alarms and CCTV.
* Taking responsibility for the department’s
procurement and budget, for all maintenance services.
Who you are:
* Knowledgeable in Fire Safety Management, F-Gas
Awareness, PAT Testing, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height. The ideal
candidate having a qualification in Health and Safety Management.
* Excellent at building relationships with team
members, guests and Department Managers.
* Highly organised, with excellent attention to
detail and accuracy.
* You will take primary responsibility for all
Town House maintenance operations, working independently day-to-day, with
weekly visits and guidance from our Director of Engineering. Additional support
from estate employees and external contractors will be available, as needed.
* The ideal candidate will be qualified in
Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Mechanical Building Maintenance and/or
Building Services Engineering, at NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 and above
Shift Pattern:
* This position will consist of 40 hours per week,
working any 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.
* The hours for this position will typically
consist of 08:00-16:30, with some variation dependent upon business needs.
* You will be required to remain on-call, for out
of hours support.
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum plus tronc
